WEB ENABLED SERVICES OF IEI
In order to enhance the level of services to its members,
the Institution is introducing a number of web enabled services, such as, online payment, access to Journal, change of address,
access to the members’ profile, status of subscription dues, etc. These services would be available only to the A/AM/M/F categories of members against an individual confidential password.
The members of the said categories are therefore requested to send their own secure

Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations

The Summer 2005 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' will be held during June 04-11, 2005.

To see the Registration details ( Name, Membership Number vis-a-vis Roll Number, Centre,
etc ) for the Winter 2004 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B', click here

The Revised Scheme of Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations shall be introduced with effect
from Summer 2005 Examinations as per the new syllabi. Examinations in the existing scheme (on the present syllabi) shall be
conducted concurrently with the revised scheme (on the revised syllabi) for two consecutive examinations, i.e., Summer 2005
and Winter 2005 examinations. For details, click here.

The results of Summer 2004 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' have been declared. The results have also been despatched to the respective Centres.

To see the list of eligible candidates whose project work has been received by the headquarters
after Summer 2004 examinations till October 12, 2004, click here

The list of allotment of Project Guide to individual candidate for project work has been
sent to the respective State / Local Centre. The candidates are advised to contact the Centre of their attachment for detailed
information. Letters to individual candidates are also being despatched.

Section 'A' (Diploma) Examination will be conducted at Belapur Examination Centre with effect from Winter 2004 Examinations.

The Council has decided to give the Last and Final Chance to Carry Forward Subject(s) Exemption(s) on Completion of the Time Limit. click here for details

The fee for Sections 'A' / Section 'B' Examinations has been enhanced from Rs. 700/-
to Rs. 1000/- with effect from Winter 2003 Examinations. Click here for details.

Both Section 'A' and Section 'B' Examinations will be conducted at Kuwait Overseas Chapter with effect from Summer 2004 Examinations.

In addition to Section 'A' (Non-Diploma) and Section 'A' (Diploma) Examinations, Section
'B' Examination will also be conducted at Ludhiana Examination Centre with effect from Summer 2004 Examinations.

Section 'A' (Diploma) Examination will be conducted at Goa Examination Centre with effect from Summer 2004 Examinations.

INTRODUCTION OF THE IEI HOLOGRAM
The IEI Hologram is being used in all Pass Mark-sheets, Combined Certificates
and Identity Cards with effect from April 01, 2003.
The documents issued prior to April 01, 2003 shall continue to be valid without
the IEI Hologram. |

The 'Directory of Fellows' with entries as on September 30,
2002 is now available from the headquarters on payment of Rs. 150/- for a printed copy and Rs. 60/- for a CD (Rs. 205/- and
Rs. 100/- respectively, if requested by post). Requests along with the appropriate remittance, in the form of demand draft
drawn in the favour of 'The Institution of Engineers (India) and payable at Kolkata, may be addressed to the Members Service
Cell at the headquarters.
